This week’s email newsletter articles are:
- It’s Up, It’s Running, and I’m Happy
The upgrade is complete — I’m writing this article on my upgraded computer. It took a while to get the process complete, and it’s done!
There were a few challenges, even though I’d reinstalled Windows 7 a couple times. None of the problems were finding drivers or finding software (other than searching for some Firefox extensions, only to realize that in migrating my old Profile to the new computer, the extensions came along, too).
The problems were dealing with hardware that was a little different than the old stuff.

- Handling Multiple Email Accounts with Mailwasher Pro
This week, long-time subscriber Chet Norris wrote with a question about Mailwasher Pro, which I use to filter spam while it’s still at the mailserver. Chet asked:

I wrote recently about my plans to upgbrade my desktop computer. It’s happening. I got everything ordered (I thought!) and started the upgrade yesterday. That’s when I learned a couple things… First, the SSD kit that I bought from Crucial was the right choice — it included a 3.5-inch (the size of the drive bays […]

I love the redesign of my Terry’s Computer Tips web site — it makes article posting and maintenance much easier than before. I’m glad I switched to WordPress and the Genesis Framework. On my Terry’s Computer Tips site, I’m using the base Genesis Framework with a child theme of my own to customize it.
