I wrote back to William to tell him that I used to update drivers by going and getting individual drivers when I decided I needed one.
Now, I use DriverScanner from Uniblue. There’s a free scanner which will tell you which drivers are out of date, but you purchase a license to have it do the real work of finding the drivers, downloading them, and installing them.
