Friend and subscriber Ralph Campbell, who knew that I’ve used and recommended NOD32 antivirus for a long time, wrote to ask:
What happened to you and NOD32?
RC
I wrote back to Ralph to tell him why I changed from NOD32 antivirus and CounterSpy antispyware to VIPRE Antivirus.
After VIPRE was first released, I tried it on my notebook (I didn’t try any of the beta versions). I found that VIPRE was far more efficient than the speedy combination of NOD32 and CounterSpy. I ran NOD32 for 4.5 years before changing – not over dissatisfaction with its work, but because I found something that I liked better than NOD32+CounterSpy.
For a while, I kept NOD32 and CounterSpy on one machine for comparison purposes, but all my family’s other computers now run VIPRE Antivirus Premium.
For the full story, read my Vipre review. Vipre has a fully-functional 30-day trial.
