Sunbelt Vipre Question from a Subscriber

Friend and subscriber Ralph Campbell, who knew that I've used and recommended NOD32 antivirus for a long time, wrote to ask:

What happened to you and NOD32?

I wrote back to Ralph to tell him why I changed from NOD32 antivirus and CounterSpy antispyware to Vipre Antivirus + Antispyware.

After Vipre was released in July, I tried it on my notebook (I didn't try any of the beta versions). I found that Vipre was far more efficient than the speedy combination of NOD32 and CounterSpy. I ran NOD32 for 4.5 years before changing - not over dissatisfaction with its work, but because I found something that I liked better than NOD32+CounterSpy.

I've still got NOD32 and CounterSpy on one machine for comparison purposes, but all my family's other computers now run Vipre Antivirus + Antispyware.
