In my Special Edition newsletter recently, I pointed them to a new Terry’s Computer Tips web page on speed testing. Since Google indexes newsletters, but recognizes that they are dated material, it also de-indexes them pretty quickly.
So, many of my online and email articles eventually become web page articles.
But, a very interesting thing showed up. After reading my Internet Connection Speed Testing page, reader Ralph Campbell wrote me to say:
Download speed.
Wow!
I’m testing out at 6.90 Mbps and 560Kps. This, according to the chart, is FASTER that the normal 4Mbps of cable!
And I though it was slow.

I wrote back with my latest results:
Mine was 5.77 Mbps / 562 kbps upload today — a whole lot better than the older test, which was solid on the 4Mbps that I’m paying for.I wonder if Cox did an invisible upgrade for us?
