Reader Frank Lepiane wrote to ask about a problem he was having with Outlook Express:
When clicking the ‘Write mail’ tab in OE, is there a way to get the ‘Bcc’ line to open as well as the ‘Cc’ and ‘To’ line each time by default?
thanks,
Frank
I did some checking in Outlook Express and saw that the Bcc address line was hidden by default (I don’t normally use Outlook Express — I use Eudora.).
After some experimentation, I found that this process worked for me with Outlook Express 6 (XP SP2):
- close Outlook Express
- open Outlook Express
- click on Create Mail
- in the New Message window, click on View, then All Headers
- click the X (top right of the New Message window) to close the blank email
- close Outlook Express
Now, when you open OE and click Create Mail, it should show To, Cc, Bcc and Subject.
Currently running OE 6 on a Toshiba laptop running XP SP3 and it quit printing the body of an e-mail. Just prints header info. Have tried different printers. Any ideas? Thanks, Marc
