Some of the fun sites that I’ve found are:
- The Evil Inc. web comic strip — evil super-villains have banded together to form a corporation. Whether you want to read a super-villain comic, are a member of the corporate world, or just have a sense of humor, I think you’ll like this one. Click on the "First" link to start at the beginning…
- The Tao of Backup — a humorous story that reminds you that backups are important..
- User Friendly comic strip — based in a mythical dialup Internet Service Provider in Canada, the User Friendly web comic strip contains all the characters necessary for an ISP: the boss, the CFO,, the marketing guy, the tech support team and the network system administrators. This is one of my daily stops…
- JacquieLawson.com — normally, I don’t like electronic greeting cards. This site, recommended by one of my readers, has some really nice cards. As soon as I found it, I signed up my wife for a two-year membership. You can preview the cards without joining, but you have to join in order to send cards.
- Pixdaux — a user-posted photo site. I think these must be moderated before posting, or at least very frequently; otherwise, I don’t see how the quality could stay so high. The images are usually dramatic photos, sometimes of landscapes and sometimes of people. If you have a dialup Internet connection, this is not a site for you.
