One of the blogs that I frequently view belongs to photographer Andre Gunther.
I first ran into Andre on one of the Usenet newsgroups, where he was asking for suggestions for a different web host. He was using Yahoo hosting at the time and was having a bad problem with people using his pictures and his bandwidth to show photos on their web sites.
I gave him some suggestions on how to do that using Powweb, and he shifted to Powweb for a while.
The great thing about Andre’s blog is that it is a photo blog. Sometimes, his post has a few words and a lot of photos. Other times, it’s a lot of words and a few photos. And they are good ones.
Most of Andre’s photos are landscapes — cities, parks, mountains, waterfalls, beaches, streets, you name it…
In a blog entry this week, Andre has a tutorial on how to plan Photo Opps ahead of time.
If you do digital or film photography, great camera or snapshot, check out his blog entry Finding Photo Opps with Google Earth and a GPS Device.
