I assume you mean the Content Advisor that is part of the Windows XP “Internet Options” menu. I’m not familiar with the Content Advisor, but I did poke around in it a little to answer your question.
You can’t delete Content Advisor because it is part of Windows XP. You can turn it off, though.
Microsoft Content Advisor works by creating a list of web sites that you will “Allow” your computer’s users to access without a password. In the same “Allowed Sites” tab, you can also select “Never” for access to a site.
All other sites will require the “Supervisor” password to access.
Changing Content Advisor settings
You can click on the Settings button and try to fine-tune some of the settings.
- Go to Control Panel, Network & Internet Connections, Internet Options.
- Pick the Content tab, then click “Settings”
To set up the individual sites for access without a password:
- Go to Control Panel, Network & Internet Connections, Internet Options.
- Pick the Content tab, then click “Settings”
- Pick the Allowed Sites tab
- in the text box, type in the web site’s name and click “Allow”
To always deny access to individual sites (probably you get a chance to use the password):
- Go to Control Panel, Network & Internet Connections, Internet Options.
- Pick the Content tab, then click “Settings”
- Pick the Allowed Sites tab
- in the text box, type in the web site’s name and click “Never”
- For your case, I would put in entries for both “www.myspace.com” and for “myspace.com”, since the site responds to either one.
To turn off Content Advisor
- Go to Control Panel, Network & Internet Connections, Internet Options.
- Pick the Content tab.
- In the Content Advisor section of that page, click on the Disable button.
