In Houston, TX
- Houston Area Apple Users Group haaug.org
When I lived in Houston in the 80′s and early 90′s, I was an avid user of Apple //e and Apple //gs computers — and a member of the Houston Area Apple User Group, the Clear Lake Apple User Group, The Bay Area GS User Group. HAAUG is still an active user group, although focused on Mac’s these days. CLAUG and BAGSUG are no more.
- Houston Area League of PC Users hal-pc.org
After I moved away from the Apple computers to the “IBM compatibles,” I joined HAL-PC, which had about 10,000 members, permanent offices and monthly meetings in the George R. Brown Convention Center. HAL-PC is still a very active user group, so if you’re in the area, check them out.

Hello – Terry
I know you are a thunderbird user, as I, from the beginning.. How do I keep my selected font in emails?
I’ve done everything I can think of…NOTHING on TB’s site or in the forums??
I’ve just d/l the current version; still won’t keep my fonts and colors. Though, I’ve made those selections in options?
Thanks for your input. Look forward to more tips, there’s always something I enjoy and can use.
John in Dallas.
