Subscriber Paul Nicolai wrote to ask me how to delete some of his private data that was being omitted by a popular free utility.
I have and use the well known CCleaner but still doesn’t clean the form details. Actually i am using IE.
I also clicked the box delete all details navigation in IE option no way. i have web sites reporting the email login automaticlly without my choice to remember.
At this point could be necessary other kind of software cleaner – any idea please?
Since Paul indicated that he was using Internet Explorer, I assumed that Paul he was using the up-to-date version, that is Internet Explorer 8. Actually, Internet Explorer 9 has just been released, but many people are waiting to get an "all clear, go ahead" from their favorite tech newsletter or blog.
So, I asked him if he had tried the privacy data deletion options built into IE8.
You can find IE8’s Delete Browsing History function via the menu toolbar’s Tools selection. It gives you a number of distinct options for deleting IE8’s personal data.
I also advised him that I’m not using any "software cleaner" at present, so I don’t have any alternate to suggest.
