New subscriber Allan Pendlebury wrote with an unusual question:
I don’t think the answer to my ? is out there but, here goes:
I have an Epson Artisan 810 AIO printer which I am very happy with.
I would like to know if it is somehow possible to combine two print jobs into one so that my printer would print both jobs; on either side of the sheet.
If I have a print job with say six pages, it will print both sides using three sheets.
I tried print to file and trying to combine the two into one job, but no luck.
The reason I am asking this is that when I want to print the second job on the reverse side I have to pull out the print tray and load it onto the stack, which is all wear and tear on the equipment.
Thanks, Allan Pendlebury
I wrote back to Allan to tell him that the only way I can think of, other than some fancy footwork with multiple publishing programs, is to do exactly what you’re doing.
I don’t know of any software that will do it for him — the demand for such printing style would be so unusual that there would be small demand for it. There would be an even smaller demand from people willing to pay for it.
